wedding Q&A >
I am a big believer in being completely prepared. The more in I know in advance, the better we can plan for a day that runs as smoothly as possible. About a month before the wedding, I have a questionnaire that I have each client fill out. We then either meet or talk over the phone to go over everything from those important family photos to the small details that I will want to make sure to capture. We will talk through the timing and make a plan to maximize your schedule so you can get as many of the photos you want and still be able to enjoy your party and guests.
I work with second shooters and assistants to keep up with the hectic pace of weddings and help me work faster. I want to be able to focus of taking photos instead of dealing with equipment.
Working with all types of lighting has become a bit of a specialty over the past couple of years, so I am able to shoot in any environment and achieve 3 dimensional soft flattering light with 'off camera' flashes.
I shoot in RAW with top Nikon cameras, prime lenses and I have two of everything. I believe doing things the right way, so I take the time and attention to edit, color correct and enhance each and every photo myself. My detailed editing usually ends up taking about 6-8 weeks from the wedding date. A USB drive with the high resolution files is included with every package. Along with a custom online slideshow and website to share with family and friends.
Albums are custom made, and I have a designer that works one on one with you to design a book that fits your personal style.
